The music industry was not one that I would consider feminine, and so accepting the new feminine standards is a real difficult task. It really was difficult for me to go, "Okay, I can be feminine, soft, and sturdy and care for me and not shrink my self-esteem." It was quite fun to wear heels, wearing a dress, with soft fabric and curls all day long. The experience was stressful since I'm a lot younger than actors who are in Fantastic Beasts]; there is plenty of stress. It was a bit strange. I sensed a strong force pulling me upwards. I was either going be crushed or crumble due to the way I longed for this role, as well as how big it was. The idea of spending a day in museums, cafes, parks or just going for a walk and observing the other people around me is something I like. London is a place where you are surrounded by people. In LA it's possible to be alone and yet, you're at the center of it all. I like watching individuals. In the world of music you're constantly in the company of males. You feel as if you are within intimate relationships with them all the time. It's a surreal dream for me, I've read every one of the books. It was a pleasure having the opportunity to study the books on tour. It's always changing places and it can be difficult to focus. However, to be able to escape in such a vibrant immersive, vibrant universe from your own bed is amazing.
