Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience started at the age of 14. She studied kickboxing, boxing and wrestling before she made her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd went on an impressive 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In each of the three bouts she beat her opponent in the very first round. In WCFC, Ladd defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia was defeated by Aspen in a unanimous vote. This put a stain on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd won her next fight in a fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to a record of 8-1. Aspen began her career in 2015, signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, where she dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta Fighting Championships 16: She took the next match with Amanda Cooper through a second-round Armbar submission. Aspen employed the strong techniques she learned from wrestling to defeat McGill. She won her bout via an KO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). Aspen then went on to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, but Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy with a TKO. In her last fight for Promotion, she fought Sijara Eubanks in a an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, with a bout against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round in the 2nd. She maintained her dominance and picked up an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd took over Evinger's fight following the opening round. Also, she was awarded the bonus for performance of evening. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent in an rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her first big fight. Ladd's victory was a unanimous decision, and her Fight of the Night award went to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds, putting an end to her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya lost in the third at UFC 7 at ESPN. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was a unanimous decision.
